Privacy & analytics

Nothing on this site tracks you until you say yes. Here's exactly what that means.

What's collected

If you say yes to the analytics prompt, this site counts your visit: the page you viewed, the referring site, and a general device/browser type. That's it.

  • No cookies
  • No fingerprinting
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No personal data, no IP address stored
  • No advertising, no data sold or shared with anyone

Nothing loads before you decide

The tracking scripts don't exist on the page at all until you say yes to the prompt. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that counts as a no automatically and the prompt never shows. You can change your mind anytime with the link below.

The tools behind it

Analytics tools run only after you say yes, all cookieless by design, none able to identify you individually:

  • A self-hosted analytics server ( Umami )that I run and control myself, on my own homelab infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare's Web Analytics ( Cloudflare Web Analytics )which rides along with the content-delivery network this site already runs on.
